Refunds and the 14-day right of withdrawal
Every product here is a download you receive the moment you pay. To buy, you tick a box requesting immediate access and acknowledging that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once access is granted. The box is never pre-ticked and the confirmation email restates it. From that moment the sale is final. We do not sell without the box.
The legal basis, in plain words
EU Directive 2011/83 art. 16(m) as amended by Directive 2019/2161, and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 reg. 37: for digital content not on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal is lost when you (1) expressly consent to immediate performance, (2) acknowledge that you thereby lose the right, and (3) receive a confirmation of the contract on a durable medium. Our checkout implements all three (the box, its wording, and the email), and the time you ticked the box is kept on the order. Buyers outside the EU and the UK have no statutory withdrawal right for downloads; the same rule applies to everyone.
Why there is no other path
A download cannot be given back. Selling it with a 14-day window would mean selling it to people who can use it for two weeks and return it, and pricing that risk into what everyone else pays. We would rather say it plainly: once the files are yours, the money is ours.
The one case we still refund
If a file is defective, incomplete, or does not contain what its product page says it contains, write to hello@ranthrice.com with the email used at checkout. We replace the file first; if we cannot, the purchase is refunded. This is the legal conformity obligation and we state it because it applies, not as a guarantee about results: a product that did what it said but did not bring you what you hoped for is not refunded on that ground, and no page here claims it would.
How refunds are paid
Refunds are processed by Creem, the merchant of record, to the original payment method. Card refunds typically appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on the bank.
Chargebacks
If something is wrong with a file, write to us before opening a chargeback: a replacement or a refund is faster. Chargebacks are handled by the merchant of record, with the order record, including the time you ticked the box, as evidence.
